Invitational exhibition of fiber artists from throughout Iowa, 2022
The pieces shown, Recovering Angel (below) and Double Crescent Moons (top) are arranged in such a way to suggest a lyrical landscape, with the lower piece becoming a boat form in a nocturnal landscape. Both elements can be arranged in variable positions and the artist gave free reign to the installers to decide on the arrangement in this case. This is an important aspect of my work, allowing the viewer and installer to experience their own interpretations of my work. In turn, this enriches my own experience and gives my fresh views of my own creations.
