This artwork is constructed of more than 10,000 cable ties and speaks of the transformation of ordinary materials into extraordinary structures as well as the transformation of man-made materials into structure that evoke the senuous beauty of nature. The installation was one of eight projects by Iowa artists displayed throughout greater Des Moines, Iowa during September/October 2011. The installation has also been shown in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, part of Sculpture Visions and in Fairfield, Iowa, as an installation titled Veil.
