This garment speaks of contrasts, both in materials and in technique. The age old and laborious technique of wrapping strips of fabric is applied to plastic fencing, an inexpensive material used to contain drifts of snow, seen throughout colder climates. Additionally, the sumptuous feel and look of the satin contrasts with the utilitarian use of the fencing.
