These photos were taken during the Covid 19 pandemic stay at home recommendations, all with my Samsung Galaxy A50 and on or near my rural Iowa home. I explored the potential to use the phone to create a painterly image, or one that echos processes such as drawing and printmaking. This became an important daily activity that connected me with nature, expanding my response to and expression of nature. In particular, morning and early evening walks were soothing to me.
