I found myself away from home with an impending deadline for a show, and no way to get home to ship the pieces I had planned. The only material I had with me was a roll of strapping wire. I created a few delicate orbs suspended in space. Over time, this grew to a large-scale installation. The varied scales, improvisational working methods and delicate connections between the elements of this suspended work allude to prolonged conversations, both rambling and emotionally probing. The elements appear as supernal orbs, with twisted, sometimes strong, sometimes fragile, wires connecting.
